2016 SCCA Marketing Awards

This could well have been the world marketing awards thanks to the standard of entries, the professionalism and sheer quality of the campaigns that had made it to the finals. They were all winners and, at this level they didn’t just rival the so-called ‘International Awards’; they quite simply exceeded them. To have a campaign in the finals of the SCCA Marketing Awards means that your entry is of a world-class standard.

But there have to be winners – and what winners they were! They are featured on these pages. Of course, special mention has to be made of the Sabina Rust Memorial Prize for the Campaign of the Year. ‘Miss Kyree Loves Karrinyup – A Style Series’, by AMP’s Claire Ridley and Toria Daniel is significant because it’s the first ‘campaign of the year’ that was of the future – a digital initiative. It’s representative of things to come as we embrace the digital age.

SCCA has taken these awards to the next level. JLL’s Tony Doherty is a natural for the post of MC at this event; his style is warm, he’s casual, witty and he combines his effortless manner with the professionalism the event warrants. SCCA’s organisation was faultless. Make sure you secure your seat for 2017! Just a great industry event.
