Vicinity Centres and Perron Group, co-owners of The Glen, this week confirmed the next stage of The Glen Shopping Centre’s $460 million redevelopment will open in October 2018. The third stage of the centre’s transformation will reveal a revitalised fashion and lifestyle precinct, and provide Melbourne’s south east with a curated, contemporary fashion experience.
The new, fashion-focused precinct will welcome leading global brands UNIQLO and H&M, as well as several other new and returning international and local fashion retailers.
Executive General Manager Development Vicinity Centres Carolyn Viney said: “Following the successful launches of our new fresh food hall and casual dining, the next stage of the centre’s transformation will focus on bringing fashion back to The Glen.
“The new fashion precinct will offer our customers and the local community a compelling and convenient shopping experience that will better meet their changing needs when it comes to fashion and lifestyle,” Viney said.
“We’re thrilled to announce UNIQLO and H&M, two of the world’s most popular fashion apparel brands, will headline The Glen’s new fashion precinct and showcase their full collection.”
Viney said The Glen’s Stage 3 opening would follow the successful launch of the fresh food market in October 2017, which continued to attract thousands of customers each week and unveiling of the food gallery dining precinct in March this year.
